Art + Wellness

The senses play a vital part of our emotional wellness.

Curating art for your wellness space requires mindful intentions. How do you want your patient, customer, or client to feel?

Selecting art that evokes an emotion, whether it is to create peace, harmony, or to energize the body.

Our visual stimulation plays a large part in the psychology of how people think and feel in spaces.

About the Artist...

It begins with the intention. Lacyann Lyons believes that wellness, fitness and health is the foundation of her creativity. Having a healthy mind, body and spirit opens up the channels of imagination, wonder, and dreams.

"My body is the foundation of creation both on canvas and in life. And I want what I create to thrive, not just exist." - Lacyann Lyons

Being healthy in the body, mind, soul, and emotionally is the foundation of this artist. Before each work of art is made, there is intention, mindfulness and a meaning behind each painting, carving or creation. Lacyann obtains this through breath work, meditation, observation, and stillness.

As an artist, she has learned several different disciplines, from traditional woodworking, Sogetsu Ikebana to contemporary painting. She has studied with teachers from around the world including Tom Pohaku Stone, Carol Sakata, Keoni Turalde, and more. Inspired by her own grandfather Ken Sakamoto, and her genealogy of award winning lei makers, Lacy combines her love of nature with modern expression. She utilizes her dedication to wellness and fitness as the foundation of all her creative expressions.

Her personal life mission in life is to bring awareness to the plight of the Native Hawaiian people through acess to health, wellness, fitness, and art. Closing the gap of disparity, and changing the narrative around Native Hawaiian health standards.
